Green
Valley Lake is a small mountain community surrounded by National Forest. Located
between Lake Arrowhead
and Big Bear Lake in the
San Bernardino Mountains. At 7,200 ft. elevation, we are a Four Season Resort.
From the point you reach the crest and see the Lake, to where the main road
ends at the campground, you have only traveled a fraction over a mile. Our town
is very small. Besides the Real Estate offices, we have a Hardware Store, Small
Market, 2 Restaurants, Hair Salon, and a Post Office. It is the small town
feel that makes Green Valley Lake special.
Being centrally located between 2 larger communities, you can take a short
trip (about 30min.) and you will be in Lake
Arrowhead or Big Bear.
You can enjoy Cross Country Skiing at the end of the road with Rim Nordic,
or downhill skiing at Snow
Valley just a short 2 miles east from the turn off to Green Valley Lake
(or a total of 6 miles).
You can enjoy fishing, in our stocked lake, or boating, (No motors), kayaking,
peddle boat, or swimming or just a leisurely stroll around the lake. There is
a picnic area just past the beach with picnic tables and barbeques, as well as
a full basket ball court and a volley ball/tennis court.
The community is surrounded by a forest of evergreen and oaks, with trails
for hiking or mountain biking, and roads for 4 wheel access. Discover
our trails and vista points with panoramic views of Lake Arrowhead below and
the high desert.
